Refined Hospitality goes back to its roots, acquiring the legendary Boat House and taking control of the former Hamilton’s Grill Room in charming Lambertville, New Jersey, a quaint riverside community. Refined, with a strong history and affinity for hospitality in this region, is thrilled to be involved, keeping the community top of mind while thoughtfully developing a new hospitality destination on Coryell Street alongside their development partners.
The heart and soul of Lambertville, the Boat House is tucked off a private path leading to this hidden speakeasy that once found – cannot be forgotten. Festooned in floor to ceiling nautical-themed art and decor with an authentic “lived in” aesthetic, including a massive whaling harpoon hung from above and furniture right from an old fisherman tavern, this two-story, yester-year nook, is a legendary haunt, serving Navy strength novelty drinks. For locals and tourists alike, this perfectly – imperfect gem is a true hidden treasure. The Boat House, in its original glory, will continue to be a historic icon in Lambertville and an integral piece of what is to come, as Refined carefully works to weave a larger development into the fabric of this community.
The iconic Hamilton’s Grill Room, most recently known as Brian’s at the Grill, will be thoughtfully remastered into a casually eclectic restaurant scene with woodfire pizzas, steaks and fish accenting the menu. This location is near and dear to Ron Gorodesky, owner of Refined Hospitality, as Jim Hamilton was his very first client back in 1990, where Ron consulted for Jim’s family and assisted with the programing and operations of Hamilton’s Grill Room. With his deep connection to this legendary Lambertville dining scene, Gorodesky will pay homage to his friend and predecessor with a new, fresh rendition. The interior elements will be reimagined through an abstract lens, with artfully curated design elements, celebrating Lambertville’s colorful culture. Complimenting the playful aesthetics will be a whimsical garden tucked under a canopy of trees for al fresco dining.
A full circle moment for Refined, they are excited to see the beautiful town of Lambertville continue to grow and flourish as they focus on their commitment to embracing history and culture.
